Endodontic treatment consists of removing the pulp tissue (the “nerve”) of root canals, followed by cleaning, sterilization and widening of these channels and then filling them. Root canal is the last stage of endodontic treatment and root is sealed with special materials in order to prevent infections.

One of the conditions necessary to achieve a quality dental treatment is to isolate the tooth. Of the means of isolation, the most modern and effective is dental rubber dam. It is a system that allows isolation of the operator field, keeping it dry and uncontaminated with bacteria. The treated tooth isolated with the rubber dam cannot be contaminated with salivary bacteria. Thus, treatment prognosis is much better, because any tissue heal quickly without infection.
In our center, interventions for root canal treatment are performed with equipment and cutting-edge materials: apex locator, which measures precisely the root canal length, rotating enlargement, dental rubber dam etc.
The duration of treatment depends on the previous state of the nerve (inflammation, infection) and the difficulty intervention in other words, one can conclude after a single session or multiple, depending on particular cases.
What concerns us is the patient’s comfort throughout treatment, the absence of further symptoms and getting an optimal sealing of the tooth, which ensures a longer life for it.
